When using forced induction, would it be better to have my gsr transmission gearing or the type r transmission gearing?

Define "better."

The stock GSR transmission is fine, I can think of plenty of better ways to spend the thousand bucks.

If you want an LSD just get a Quaife.

Shorter gears on a boosted car means you'll spend less time in boost than a longer geared tranny, and the shorter gears will have more tire spin.

The R tranny would give better 1/4 mile times IF you can get traction with gears that short.
