headlight replacement...... im very puzzled
I am replacing the driver-side headlight on a 91 integra and i cannot figure out how to get the lamps out of the housing or the housing out of the car. Should and take off the bumper? Could use some very specific instructions thanks.

natethegreat,
My wife used to have a 1990 Integra. If memory serves, there's a ring that you have to turn counter-clockwise on the back of the headlamp inside the engine bay. You turn that (it can be a real bugger to get off...how can plastic be so tight?) and then the lamp will come out. Just don't use too much force as everything back there is plastic.

if it is just teh bulb you twist the plastic lock ring and pull back then the bulb pulls out in the harness.... if you have to replace the entire housing, you need to remove the front bumper (this involves taking the bumper lights off and undoing the bolts behind them) the bolts under the car, the ones under the hood, and the ones in the wheel wells... have fun hope its not as cold there as it is here!!
