Jeff, stay far FAR away from these. I also had an opportunity to buy one of these from a friend, used, and amazingly cheap. I posted on the Del Sol board, and I got about 10 quick responses letting me know how terrible and rust-prone Monza/Pacesetter is. It's cheap for a reason - terrible fitment, construction quality, etc.

I have since seen one (with it's unmistable black and yellow tip) on a 180sx, and it sounded terrible. Like the stereotypical "can of angry bees." No bass whatsoever, not loud in general... it's not quality.

It also, if this matters, gets absolutely no respect from anyone on this board. It's in the same category as BOMZ headers, neon license plate screws, and the wiper-jet LEDs - cheap, ebay-licious trash which appeals to budget racers, but makes them pay double for quality in the end.

ty DelSolSIinMD, for the heads up. what would you recommend for a 94 teg, non v-tec, a catback or just a muffler. I dont want anything that sounds cheap and loud. I would prefer a more quite exhaust, but no so quite that its unnoticable, i want my car to sound badass, like a ferrari:naughty:

ok i bought an aerospeed exhaust and it has a very deep sound and it never sounds like a can of bees and its pretty quiet also. Like when i am going down the i-state i can barely hear it until i stomp on it and then i hear it. Personally i could not be happier with the sound of this exhaust. It is only a axle back but it still sounds great. I guess you could get a apexi world sport also or a rsr exhaust. Its your choice gl making it. Oh and by the way i just heard this integra the other weekend with the pacesetter and let me tell you it is not bassy at all but instead it very raspy and it sounds just like a can of bees that are furious. But anyhow dont but monza they suck.

Hmm, i considered a pacesetter header for my b18... i had a dc sports, but i sold it to a friend cause i thought i was gonna get a different engine, but i decided then to rebuild and upgrade a b18 that i found.. my friend has pace setter headers on his mustang, they work nice for him.. but then again thats a v8... i have a 4 banger...

Crappiest exhaust ever made!! When I first got my 95 GS-R I didn't have a lot of money so I got the monza with fat tip. Started rusting out within a few months and was pretty much gone in 8 months. Not to mention sounded like hell and vibrated all the time. If you want a good system, go Comptech.
