Default my cruise control button wont work

yesterday coming home from work, clicked it on and hit it by my steering wheel. let go of gas and then i noticed i was doing 40 in a 65mph zone. :doh: oh well.

well you know that you have to push the button in behind the steeringwheel and then hold the "set" button down for a sec or two and then let go. oh and if you have a stick, make sure you aren't touching the clutch at all otherwise it wont work either.

yep


i have the button on behind the steering wheel on and i press the one down by the steering wheel. and i liked cruise control too

Awesome. Now you won't feel bad about destroying your dash to mount an A/F ratio gauge in place of the CC button

ps. I've only used CC twice and both times I was going well above 85 :naughty: I love CA I-5.

so the light comes in right?
i know cruise comes on only if you are above a certain speed
if that dont work then you gotta check the wiring under the dash

the cruise button works, the button that sets it on the steering will won't work, and im going about 70/72 so i think im going fast enough. it worked this morning when i was at work and the car was warm....
