Type R rear Strutbar
Hi everyone. It's good to see the site back up. I had a question...I bought an Integra/Civic Type R rear strut bar off ebay and just received it. Well I thought the thing just bolts on to the rear but when I tried putting it in the plastic panel gets in the way. Did anyone have to cut the plastic to get the thing to fit? Because I'm seriously considering getting a refund. Thanks

Did you get the ITR one or the CTR one?
CTR one:

The ITR one looks like this:

The ITR one fits without any mods.

yeah it's the CTR one. That's the guy I bought it off. Maybe i should of just saved the money and bought the real one. So does the CTR one need extra parts to fit?

Sorry, that design won't fit your Teg without cutting the plastic trunk lining. A REAL JDM Integra Type-R rear strut bar will fit, but you will need to cut a whole in the small removable access panels. Honda does supply a cut-out for them and plastic lining for the hole.

I was thinking of geting one for my car too. I've got the sedan and I really don't see any way around having to cut the lining. Even with the ITR bar I'd still have to cut it.
