Default gsr block with spun bearing?

im wondering if a gsr block with a spun bearing is worth buying. i plan on rebuilding it anyway, but it still leaves me concerned. is the crank salvageable? can an ls crank slip on there with no problems? what mods must i perform to make it work? any suggestions are appreciated.

You won't know if it's salvagable until it's torn down. It most likely is still good.

Have the crank turned. This is what happened to the one in my possession at the moment. Might need new rods(also recommend studs on EVERYTHING).
