B18C4 is known the engine code of the Euro Honda Civic 1.8 VTI, with the exact same specs as the USDM B18C1.

B/c the owner/leader of Spoon said his fav engine is the b18c4. He said the b18 c1-3 are powered down versions of the real GSR engine.
This is why i've been wondering... I've never heard of the b18c4 before my friend showed me the article...
This came from an article in Import Tuner... i don't suscribe to it but a friend does and he just showed me recently...
I may be a little off... don't quote me exactly...

BTW, if those B18C4 numbers are correct...wow. I feel cheated..although 134 lbs of torque sounds a bit off (what do the C5's make?)

USDM B18C1 puts out 170 hp & 128 lb-ft torque
USDM B18C5 puts out 195 hp & 130 lb-ft torque
JDM B18C puts out 197 hp & 134 lb-ft torque
I've never heard of the B18C4, I don't know why that would have more torque than the C5....

They're 1.8 liter VTEC motors. You either have a P72 head and dual-stage manifold or a ported PR3 head with Type-R cams and manifold. There's so much speculation on what the hell the absolute correct esoteric engine code for something never sold in this country and it results in...nothing.
