Default What shocks for Neuspeed Race?

i got a 3rd gen integ and i'm wondering what kind of shocks i should get? my stock ones are beyond dead and i really need a new set, im thinking maybe tokicos? not the adjustable ones, i need ones that are pretty cheap. Also will this even out my drop, my front is a lot lower than my rear, is this because of the shocks or the springs? any help will be greatly appreciated.

if you want a good set of shocks go for the koni reds, but if you spend slightly more you can get kyb agx's which are adjustable. the reason your front is lower than the back IS cause of your springs

bummer, any good places to get the koni reds? the reason i ask about the drop is because when i first had the springs on, they were on backwards (front springs in rear and rear springs in front) and the car still had an uneven drop ( front is a lot lower than back). And now that i switched them to their proper locations, the drop is still uneven, its weird.

i had the H&R race springs which i believe are identical to your's. they gave me a lower drop up front too. if you really want to even it out get the koni yellows because they have adjustable spring perches which means you'll be able to lower the back some and even it out. when i had the H&R's i used them with red konis and liked them alot. now i have ground controls with the reds and find that the H&R's performed better but with the ground controls i was able to lower my car more and even it out.
i bought my reds for $260 new. try looking at www.groupbuycenter.com they have kyb's and koni's.

however i highly recommend that you go for the koni yellows, you will be much happier in the long run. i wish i bought them instead of the koni reds.

the back springs have a lower spring rate therefore the heavier front end was keeping them down up front lower than the back.

The red koni's are better than the tokico hp's, but i've never heard of the premiums, if they are the one and the same then i would recommend getting the koni reds. if you think the koni reds are soft the way they come, you can have them tightened up because they can be adjusted for stiffness when they are out of the car.
