Default How to remove the axle nuts on my GSR?

This is the big 22mm nut that's keeping me axles attached to my wheels. Will a 22mm impact socket and impact wrench take it off?

Yep, but if you are taking off your axles i would recommend taking off the lower shock mount and hanging the caliper out of the way somewhere, then just pull the rotor and whee!, the axle comes out.

i think the axle nut is 32mm & yes if you have a high quality impact gun & good air compressor it should come off no problem.

It's somewhere around there. I wasted my time and money today buying a 22mm when that's what Helm's said. I'm just gonna go back and buy a couple and see what happens.

Yeah, it's definitly a 32mm, we broke my breaker bar trying to bust of my driver side axle nut last week, good thing those come with a lifetime warranty.

32mm nut
Put the car in 5th gear, have someone stand on the brake pedal. Use a 1/2" breaker bar, and slide over a really long bar like from a hydraulic floor jack, and push hard. It'll come off.
