Default Car was Broken Into

My car was just broken into this morning around 3 am. They got my $600 Panasonic Cd Player, Vtec Controller, Subs and Amp.

Also now my car wont run right since the Vtec controller isnt there. Damn theives.

Hopefully Insurance covers everything, I have all the reicipts so maybe they will.

Has anyone else had there car broken into and insurance replaced all the money?

I have full coverage so maybe they will.

Sorry about the break-in. I hope it doesn't happen to me anytime soon (*knock on wood*).

Most insurance companies have what the call an "additions" payment. Its an extra payment in addition to your standard liability/comprehensive/collision that covers anything "extra" that you put on the car. My insurance company (StateFarm) provides up to $1000 worth of coverage for extras free of charge. I think most insurance companies have some type of additions coverage. Good luck

The reason the car isn't running right with the VTEC controller gone is because it's been spliced into the harness. Unless the thieves took the time to dic your wiring and reconnect everything to your ECU then you've got some sensors that are essentially unplugged.

somebody broke into my car at work the other night. broke my window and stole my cd player and radar detector. insurance is giving me money to cover the cd player, window, and the dash they messed up minus my $100 deductible.

i hate thieves.
