Default altenater

i have 94 integra, and im try to instal an altenater belt, it's easy to take off but hard to put on, there's not enough slack but i've loosen the altenater. what do i do?

Make sure it's the correct size belt (I'm assuming you're replacing the old one), compare them side by side, pulled tight. It shouldn't be that hard to slip on. Assuming you're placing it on the correct crank pulley (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that one), and that it is the correct size, you may be able to get some more play or slack in the alternator by loosening the lower mounting bolt, not the bolt on the slider, but the one that allows the alternator to pivot... if you've already loosened that (I've always had to in order to get any significant play in the alternator), I'd say you need a bigger belt.

the alternator has 2 bolts i believe, one to loosen it and the other to keep it in place. loosen both and afterthat.
basically just trying to put on the belt right?

i usually use a prybar to push the alternator away or towards your i just couldnt remember. anyway you'll know which way to go coz your basically tightening up the belt. dont tighten it too much coz u might have overcharging issues,

Sounds like the wrong belt size. Also make sure you have the right tension.
