Default 99 Integra CD Player

Hi, I disconnected the battery on this thing and now the CD player does not work with a code of PEO. Any know the remedy for this? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that is a "cd read error." Does the radio itself work?

The error codes are explained in your owner's manual.
Condensation on the laser lens can cause a read error; if this is only happening when the interior is cold, that may be the cause.

do you have the anti theft code? if not, it is in the engine bay fuse box lid, disconnect battery, reconnect, enter the code, presto, if that isnt the case...well sorry for the info, ron1 sounds like he can help

a spin with a lens cleaner helped mine out; a friend loaded the player with a dirty cd or two

Make sure that you have the right code or you can brick your head unit.
