"Okay, I have an LS-VTEC in my 91 Integra. Its chipped and runs sweet. When I shift at 8000rpm, flames come out of the exhaust. Now I know the 02 sensor is bad, could this be because of that? By the way, I'm running 91 octane."

It cant be running that sweet if the O2 sensor is bad.

Replace the sensor if you know its bad. Will it cure the flames? Maybe, maybe not.

Depending on how/what that ECU was chipped for, the 02 could have been deleted from the system. Mine is and I'm tuned with eCtune.

Also, what was the ECU chipped with? What you could do is take your ECU, cut the jumper pin, and if it stopped, you know it's the tune or base-map on the chip.

Were you actually tuned via dyno or a street tune? Or did you just buy a "chipped" ECU and throw it in your car? I remember when mine was just chipped and I smoothed out the fuel curves I used to pop from the exhaust at idle because I was a little bit lean.

Sounds like the bad sensor is causing the computer to run it a little richer. Replace the sensor and get back to us.

the only way is to go to the data stream of your pcm, then look at the data specifically @ the long term fuel trim.
