Default Afc

I had a techy type question it may be stupid but mmmeh. I was wondering if an Apexi AFC from a 240 sx would work on my 95 GSR? I dont know if there is any difference in what car you buy it for and what car it works on. One of my friends might sell me his and i was just wondering if it would work on my car?

yes it will work, you just have to hook up the wires differently in your car (its all detailed in the manual) if he dosent have it, you can get it on apexi's website at www.apexi.com. By the way, how much is he selling it for? the VAFC's go for like 300 shipped now, so dont get ripped off

what he ^ said.... the APEXI S-AFC is not car specific. you just have to tap into your car's ecu wiring differently thats all. and yeah the prices dropped on those units

i just wanna know why you'd waste your money on an AFC instead of getting a VAFC since you do have a GSR?

i completely overlooked that too, if he would sell it to you cheap, cell it on ebay and make a few bucks and then get the VAFC for $300 shipped from groupbuycenter.com =)

THere are advantages to using an safc over a vafc, vtec or no vtec.

THe only thing that an safc obviously won't do is change vtec xover.

It does have a few more options when it comes to playing with the fuel. Regardless, a fuel computer is a tuning tool and isn't going to get you any power unless you put your car on a dyno and tune it.
