suspension will definitely help lower 1/4mile e.t.'s.... by how much? not much, but it will lower it.

as for getting a front lip to create downforce...forget it. unless your car is built to race at the track, youre not going fast enough to make any significant downforce, instead you'll probably just end up creating unnecessary drag.

That wouldn't help the launch because a car has to be moving for it to create downforce. Once it's hooked up you don't have to worry about traction anymore unless you have enough power to break the tires loose for more than a chirp on the 2-3 shift.

I'm tempted to post pics of a functional front lip (used by some formula autocross car). It's about the size of my desk.
