OEM Kit... whats it worth?
I just bought an Integ this past weekend, and the owner threw in NIB OEM kit for it. I am not sure why he had it, since the car is green and the kit is factory painted white... I was thinking of selling it if someone were interested in it, but I dont know what it is worth... Can you guys give me some idea on what is a fair asking price? Thanks. I couldnt find them online for sale, so I really have no idea.
Thanks for your help in advance. Ben

usually u cant find the whole kit online, but i found the front lip on comptechusa.com for about $230 and my friend said that you can go and ask the acura dealership for the sides and the back, and the sides would cost about $300 and back $200, so all together about $730 brand new
i may be interested in the front though, how much do u think u'll sell it for

Talk about ironic....
I just purchased a NIB Frost White OEM kit for my Green '99 GSR this past Friday. I ended up getting the kit for $605 + shipping. The seller had a Buy It Now price of $700.00 when the auction began
However, prior to purchasing this kit, I spoke with my local dealer and was told that they could not get the front lip any longer. As for the rest of the kit, the cost break down was as follows:
I'm sure people could get a better price, if they shopped around. However, getting those parts new seems hard to come by.

I've seen them for cheap online before from certain dealers.

Cheapest I've seen for a full OEM kit (right before the RSX came out) was 399 or something from Radley Acura. Now people are paying premium for these things due to lack of supply (not sure why demand for the OEM kit is so high now versus before).
You can easily sell it for $600-700 (dealers were asking $1000+ for the last ones)

If I saw an OEM kit advertised for $600-$700 I would delete the frickin thread.
They sold for $299 at Radley, and now, a good deal would be $400. I wouldnt pay any more than $450, and I see them going usually for $500 + s/h, which is too much IMO.
