Default Header install ......Venting

OK, so today i go pick up my new DC 4-1 header (bout 30 minute drive) get to a friends house and wait an hour for everthing to cool down, then we start taking the stock header off. Well we ran into a few things but we got it off. When we got the stock ones out we put the DC and the stock headers side by side and the Fawker sold me the wrong ones I was about 3-4 inches short on the DC header. So I had to put everything back on, and its closed so i cant go back and i have to wait till monday to take them back. AAAHHH im pissed off. Sorry just had to vent!!

00-01 GSR's have a spot for the 02 bung, whereas 94-99 models dont. The 94-99 GSR model also is shorter, so it sounds like thats the one you've got.

Sounds like an ignorant seller who just thought same car, same motor "sure it'll fit." I had a similar issue a long long time ago, got my money back for sure!

I have a DC 4-2-1 header on my 96 teg and it has no o2 sensor and I have a hi/flo cat that doesn't have an o2 sensor either. So yea I don't have an o2 sensor I guess. The owner before me put in an A/F ratio gauge and when I got the car I wondered why it did not work. But now I know I don't have one I guess? I'm figuring he got the gauge before he bought an aftermarket cat. Is there any way I could hook this gauge back up to something? I hate the fact that it is useless to me right now

VTEC header is shorter whereas the Non-VTEC is longer before the collector since their exhaust system is smaller.

Wow, is it pitching the CEL? You might want to have a bung welded in or something!
