Default The infamous ckf bypass trick..

Has anybody tired this trick? a buddy of mine tried this mod and his car wouldnt start up shortly after the ecu was plugged back in. what went wrong? he says he spliced and tapped in to the correct wires indicated on this write up: http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm.

did he unplug the sensor altogether after the hack? i made the same mistake not too long ago.

unplug which sensor? his b20b didnt have a knock sensor if thats what your talking about. he tried this trick twice. no luck so he just left it back the way it was. funny thing was he told me the cel was gone after he plugged the ecu back up. did he only need to reset the ecu??
