strange thing when i changed my oil...
i changed my oil last night (about 5000 miles since my last change), and usually, when i pull the old filter, a bunch of oil comes out all over the place, but this time it didn't 
the old filter also was heavy, like oil was maybe trapped inside i actually weighed it, it was 427g compared to the new one which was only 220g... any idea what happened?

Sounds like you had a bunch of crap clogging up the old filter. Might want to change the oil sooner than 5000 miles the next time and see if the same thing happens again.
