hi,

I am looking at getting a 92 integra and i think its flooded.

it has fuel and spark but it wont start.

How do i fix it if its flooded?

what else could be wrong?

just take out the plugs and let the gas evaporate overnight, the next day, put the plugs on and it should start right up.

make sure to check the plugs too coz they could be fouled.

timing is on, i have dried out the cylinders and it didnt start, i replaced the ignition control module and it didnt start... its had a full tune up, and it made no difference.


What could be the issue?

that car should start, coz u said u got spark, u got fuel, and the cylinders are not flooded anymore.
i was just curious if you really see the spark at the tip of the plugs or are u just assuming.
you shouldnt have changed the ignitor/transistor if you are definitely sure you got spark.

it may be ur ecu i have some for sell for cheep if u need ,also check ur compresion

wont be ecu coz he said he got spark and fuel.
maybe compression issue

check your firing order or maybe the distributor is way off by 180 degrees.

the ecu is not the problem.

3 people and myself have verified that its getting spark. the distributer is fine.



when i cleared the flooding i noticed that after i tried starting it again and puled the plugs that they wreeked of gas...

didnt i mentioned to check that before. you need new plugs coz its already fouled. let the gas evaporate again and then start it.
