Default Replacing oxygen sensor-`98 integra

I`ve been advised by the error code given me by my local auto parts store that my `98 integra gsr`s rear oxygen sensor is bad.
My question is- how difficult is this to replace myself? Do i need any special tools to preform the operation? Should i spend the money on an expenseve replacement model( bosch-$185.00) or just go with a basic/generic sensor ( 65.00). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks .

No they are not hard to replace. As far as which sensor to buy, I would go with one that you not have to splice in the wires. Those are the cheap one. Do some looking around the net for an OEM fit.

As said, they're very easy to replace. If my arms were a little longer, I would change my rear one from under the hood behind the motor.

I bought the Bosch universal for $60 and it worked for me. No more code.

Yea, they're easy to replace. All you need is a 7/8" wrench.

Spray with some PB blaster and it is done easy yourself. It is a plug in part. Bosch works well and so does NGK.

yes PB blaster, and use a dedicated 02 sensor socket...which is around 20-25 bucks.

still cheaper than the 300 bucks or so honda dealers charge for the job.

The one in my '97 Civic was so bad I had to spray it every day for a week and a half, get a 3' breaker bar and a wrench to bust it loose.
