Default follow up to car hooking left

so as some may know...went to the dealer to get my steering problem fixed, required a new power steering rack, also come to find out why alignments didnt do shit to my car...tires needed to be cross rotated and then balanced, somehow that fixed everything, lucky me...NOT, anyways to gingas about how much it would cost without my warrenty...the bill was 1011.93 dollars, OUCH. next thing on my list to do is get my rotors and pads installed as well as my outer cv boots done, 1 trip, should cost me 200ish

my car handles like its brand new. its crazy how much better it feels, and i didnt realize it until now how shitty the handling really was.

now my only problem is my maintenence light keeps blinking for a good 30 sec after i start the car, i reset it but it keeps blinking...wonder why, oil is good for 2500 miles still, just had it done, plugs are good, air filter, just put a k&n in today, i run out of ideas lol...

any other reason why it would be blinking, acura dude said a 90k would take it away, i say he wants my 800 dollars to turn a light off, i mean it goes off after 30 secs of blinking, but its annoying lol

Ouch.. that's a lot of money.

You could do the rotors and pads your self to save money, too. Not that hard at all, and you can use basic hand tools.

I wouldn't worry about the light. As long as it doesn't stay lit, you should be good.

Wow Khazzy. Good Lord!! They bumped there heads. So when you bought your GSR. Was it private owned & you just paid the xtra money for your warranty. I haven't been able to get front checked out yet.
Something always gets in the way of going. That's life. I definately want to get mine checked out. Hope it's not my problem. I know I don't have to do that with tires because my front are new with about 1500 miles. Thanks for letting me know price Khazzy. What's the name of the Acura dealer you go to.
For your brake do they have a Mr. Tire. I haven't had any complaints about brakes.

the maintenance light is nothing than a counter. how are you resetting it? did you hold the button, turn the ignition to acc on, then wait until the light shuts off?

that acura dude sounds like a thief.

naw bro i am rockin a gs 4dr lol, i bought my car from waldorf auto outlet, and i got the light off, the filter wasnt sitting correctly in the box...go figure haha, its off now, i do have a mr tire here in tucson, didnt go see the price there, but brake max quoted me 125 for the install, fortunately they do outer cv boots there as well, the dude said that would be 150, so may have to postpone brake install, as for doing it myself, i have honestly never done any brake install and i do not wanna mess it up, between putting the brembo drilled on and the hawk hps pads, i dont want to mess it up and have that money down the drain lol...only fear i have is, because i dont buy the parts through who i want it installed by, that they will not do as good of a job and classify it as a defective part...but then again, is that legal lol...anywho i went to chapman acura here in tucson, the guy is pretty tight too, but i told him that a 90k isnt necessary, and he pretty much agreed with me after he drove my car, i should post some pics on here, brb ima do a photo shoot real quick =P
