Default changing shift boot

Anyone know how to change the shift boot? Are there instructions somewhere. I've been trail and error trying to get underneath that centre section but i'm paranoid about breaking something.

you have to pull the entire center consol out. in the arm rest part, there are four screws on the sides of it. then in the part under the e-brake handle, there is a cover that you need to remove. under that there are two more screws. after you remove those, you can remove the whole arm rest assembly. then there are two screws in the foot wells that hold the front of the consol in place. there is also one more screw behind the ash-tray. after you remove those, unscrew your shift knob, and you should be able to pull the section out.

OK.. here goes.. I hope that everyone likes..

I got this really cool Momo shifter and boot:

Do what XSrcing says to do..

You are then left with the factory crap..

You have to pry off the old boot.. be sure to keep the bracket...

Then you have stretch out the new boot to cover the metal bracket..

Make sure that you do not cover up the holes needed to screw it back in place..

Then install it back into the console..

This is what it looks like from the top..

And this is what it looks like Final product..

I also have an Ebrake handle that I did (Momo).. let me know if you want to see that one also..

4 screws for armrest 2 on each side
slide armrest off
pry rectangular piece off middle pocket to expose 2 screws
take those off
2 screws on back of console, 1 on eash side near where your foot rests
slide console back and turn opside down
2 screws to take off shift boot, put on new shift boot, reverse process
