Default rpm gets stuck

I just installed a new exedy racing clutch and clutchmasters flywheel a few days ago into my gsr. I've noticed that when I get the rpms high when driving, then press the clutch, the rev stays stuck at a constant like 2k-3k rpm until I hit the gas pedal again and let off. Then it comes back down to normal idle. It does it even if I put the gear in neutral. Anyone have this happen to them? It only happens every now and then which is really confusing me. I am thinking it may be a sensor or vacuum hose possibly?

how is the car idling? if the idle is just inconsistant, it is most likely a vacuum hose. if, when idling, the rpm constantly jump, it is most likely a screw in the idle air control valve that has come loose.

It's definitely not the carpet, I've checked that. The idle is consistent, a little under 1k rpm. I'm baffled why it does it when I add a lot of gas but never when I just drive conservatively.

Default Have the same problem but with speedo

I have the same problem but with the speedo, i installed a JDM type r cluster and the MPH or i should say KMH nedles sticks, it will move when accelerating but sometimes it will stay at a high number, right now its stuck at 60KMH, I thought it might be that the needle might be sticking so i was thinkn of pulling it out a little.
