Default 98 GSR Shim ?

What's up everyone? My question is this. Looked at my pads no shims . Went to Acura they only have the shims with the oem pads. I'm not buying the oem's because I already have the brembos which are cheaper/better.
Now I'm getting front brakes done tommorrow. Now with this said can I get shims from Autozone or Pepboys & also what stuff should I buy to help stop squeaks from these stores.
Thanks

yeah generic off brand shims (for your car of course) from any autoparts store should be fine. just buy those anti squeal packets and spread the gooey stuff on the PAD side of the shim, like you're gluing the shim to the pad.

i find it funny that you made a post on the internet to find out if the auto parts stores carry something. A simple phone call would have covered it!!! lol

yes they carry them, good luck.
