Default The six million dollar question.....

Did Acura build a g2 WITHOUT power seatbelts? If so which ones?
Cause I hate these things......

(p.s. Reading, replying, answering, lying about, laughing at or anything else you do in relation to this thread in no way implies that you are going to recieve currency, goods, services or anything but "Thanks".)

But it will be a very sincere, thanks.

Thanks,

The Canadian-spec G2s had no automatic seatbelts.

"passive restraint" it's an insurance discount. It bothers you that much? Search g2ic.com 4sale forums or ask somebody there. There's tons of CDM g2s there.

Thanks for all the replies! I am really interested in doing this swap. I have never liked the auto seatbelts. Eventually they fail and it's a pain to fix. Not to mention that I can't count all the times I've hit my head on the damn thing while I'm working on the dash cluster, stereo or just cleaning the interior.
Also, I want to get my hands on a JDM center armrest, and it will not fit with the power belts.
I'll let y'all know how it goes!!
Thanks again!!!
