How much would a muffler charge to make a pipe that goes from the b-pipe to the muffler? What kind of pipe would you guys reconmend? I got my ITR muffler without the pipe...just the muffler. Should I paint the pipe with engine enamel paint to help rush prevention? TIA

 

probably around $100. you should have a shop do mandual(sp) bend the pipes.

im not sure what pipes the shops use, but arent they stainless steel?

 

The word you're looking for is mandrel - mandrel bent piping.

Damn..100 for madrel bent piping to connect the muffler to the b-pipe? Wow..guess i am gonna go with the crinkel piping then...that cant take that much HP off.

 

The place I go would charge like 85 for mandrel, 65 for the regular kink bent stuff....you're in CT, so i cant give u directions ...
