i recently had both rear quarter panels repainted ..my car is silver. however the paint is SLIGHTLY darker looking then the surrounding panels. again its not an obvios thing you can reealy only see it from a distance. anyway my question is is it possible to get the rest of the car compounded? will it make the panels appear deeper/newer colored looking. my car is a 1998 so im sure it (the paint) has faded mildly.

 

that's a poor color match. The only thing you can do to fix that is have it repainted.

If it bothers you that much, take it back to where you had the work done.
