I see no point in having a VTEC head if the ECU won't kick VTEC on. Just wait till you can buy both and do em at the same time.

you could do that, but i wouldnt rev it past the LS's rev limiter till you can build up the block. im not necessarily saying dont do LS VTEC, just do it right.

Im currently building lsvtec, and so far im in it 5g's, not including the turbo...
however im building the block to support nitrous and a turbo...
when its dynoed I will let you know all the stats.

you could probably get away with the higher revs if you went with ARP rod bolts and maybe even spend a couple hundred and have a machine shop machine the main caps and add dowels so you could use the girdle from a gsr. Then happy revving. thats the cheep reliable way!!
