Everyone and their mother has installed a short throw shifter before, I just tried to install one and its very simple. The only thing that stopped me from putting the damn thing in is this shifter ball seat. Its oval shaped and its held by two small 10mm bolts. Mind you my car has never been touched as far as modification, so the two bolts are rusted on with no hope of ever being reused. Does anyone know about this part and where can i get a replacement , or would this be a dealer specific part. :thinking:

 

Found it at Honda parts unlimited, didn't know why i never thought about it before. I used to always order from there. oh well :shrug:
