srs light

my srs light went won't turn off. so i took it to the dealer and they said my passenger airbag is defected and they told me it would be more than $1000 to fix. anyone know how to turn the light off or reset the memory?

that is really weird. What did they say is wrong with it? Maybe there is something in the Helms manual that says how to reset the light?

all they told me was my passenger side air bag wont deploy and that it would cost a lot to fix
