anyone ever got this swap to pass a smog test legally? if so please elaborate

 

it'll pass the sniffer test just fine.

what it wont pass is the visual since CA smog laws say you cant put a light-truck (in this case, the CRV) engine into a non-truck car (in this case, your integra).

sure people all over run b20s in their tegs, but it when it comes time for smog or they get pulled over and get sent to the ref, they start whining and complaining as if they were innocent of doing nothing wrong. dont be one of those hypocrites.

there are rules and exceptions of course, as a good percentage of smog shops and police dont blink twice when you have a b20 in there.

 

it passed the visual just fine just because i had all the stock parts in there including all the hoses and ish..but it didnt pass the sniffer. my CEL is on cuz of the O2 sensor. Replacing the primary O2 sensor should take care of the CEL and the smog? thanks for the help mayn

 

well it could be a number of things thats causing the CEL. which exact code is it? if its the secondary o2 sensor, it means you need a new cat.
