Bought a stock ITR
Quick update, I stored it for the winter. Prepped it by following a checklist on s2ki.
-removed battery
-overpressured tires and put carpets beneath to prevent flatspotting
-full tank of gas + stabilizer
-washed car
-silicone spray on rubber seals
-custom car cover

That is a very nice cover! Where did you find that? Any suggestions on where to purchase?
Sad to see the R in hibernation, at least you are keeping her safe!
Also, what is increasing the tire pressure supposed to accomplish? I've never heard that one.

put a balloon in a freezer, you will see why, air in inflatable things in the cold often deflates, he doesnt want the tires to deflate, in maryland during the winter, i always had to inflate my tires back to the correct pressure at the end of the winter.
What Khazzy said - with more air in the tires it's my hope there's more overall volume during the cold so the tires retain their shape. I'll probably also move it back and forth a foot or two every month so it sits on a different part of the rubber.
The car cover is custom from carcoversdirect. I don't think it's the same as a covercraft but it's pretty sweet. Dimensions are pretty close to the vehicle and it fits the car quite snugly. They even have a different one for the R so it can accommodate the wing.

If I was going to store a car for more than a month, and had the luxury of a garage, I would just put it up on jack stands. Not a necessity but regardless.
As long as you keep some dirtbag thief from messing it up, I say keep up the good work :goodjob:
