Yeah what exactly do you want to know? They are excellent cars if you don't mind some sacrifices in comforts. Also I see you are from Burlington. The R's do tend to be a high priority on thieves lists so be prepared to deal with it. If you don't have a garage to park it, you'll worry about it 24/7. There isn't any reliablity issues with it, besides the fact that the majority of them are driven hard and have damage in some form or another. If you are serious about picking one up, I work in Toronto at Honda Canada and don't mind looking it over for you. I'm not a mechanic, but I know what to check on those cars
Thieves! in Burlington! lol ya right! Burlington is the most sheltered town in southern Ontario! lol. But i do hear what your saying. whats the horsepower stock on those?
If you're looking for a car to drag/street race go with a cheaper and less noticeable gsr. Otherwise, the Type-R is far more balanced, and will do a bit of everything pretty well.
Crank HP for the USDM versions is 195 I believe.

If you're not going to race, I don't see the point in getting a Type R other than as showing off to ricers. The car doesn't have leather, sound deadening, cruise control, a sunroof, etc., etc. She's stripped and ready for the track. IMO, for the price of one, you can get a nicer looking, more comfortable car.
I myself AutoX and will be taking my baby to the track whenever time and money can afford it
