My teg is gone, but my friend's is having a problem with her's. Her maint reqd light is lit. What does that mean... she just changed her oil herself.

I think that it's just that an oil change reminder light that gets reset by honda/acura techs... i'm not sure tho.

PS her mileage is 74k, and she's had the belts changed and all

 

the light is set by miles. it starts blinking at 6k miles and stays on at 7.5k miles. it means nothing.

to reset it, turn your ignition to ON, and hold the button under the steering wheel til the light turns off.

there is a button on the underside of the dash. its a square. press the button and hold the while you start the car. the light should stay on for a sec, then disappear.
