Stock CD player... problem...

Default Stock CD player... problem...

Since its winter now.. and cold as hell.. my CD player doesn't start to play CDs till the damn car warms up... which is bogus

Anyone have this problem... it seems to happen in like.. sub 30 degree weather

Nope. Don't have that problem. I suggest warming your car up before you leave. HTH

You drive your car in below freezing temps? h:

The only thing I can think of is your CD reader/internals freezes overnight (among other internals). Not sure if there's a fix for that (besides getting a beater and garaging the teg )

You cant really do anything about that. Whats prolly happening is your lens gets fog on it so it wont read. Sorry you prolly have to deal with that unless you get a different cd player

hmmm.. maybe.. all the condensation from the lake in my trunk has made its way inside my CD player.. and the mother****er freezes.. until 15 minutes after the damn car warms up.. @$#%@)(*

Yeah I have that problem sometimes... but I
I find it's a combination of the player and the
discs.

When it was extremely cold out, the cds would
get really "foggy" from condensation, and not
play well... then again maybe the discs have
nothing to do w/ it.

Once the interior warms up everthing is fine. Don't
really have a solution for ya, just the same problem.
