Opinion on to many miles for a GSR?
Ok i just bought a 94 GSR that was going to be a project, well the engine has 206K miles on it but they were pampered "old people owned it" and the engine feels kind of sluggish, do you think it has to many miles and the engine is junk or do you think a couple new parts could bring it back to life, it starts right up without hesitation and revs fine it just feels slow. What can i do to renew this engine until summer "thats when my other engine will be done"
if it runs fine and doesn't puff black smoke then it should be in good shape. I'd personally just change the fuel filter. Also find out if the timing belt and water pump were ever changed.. If not I'd do it just so you dont chance messing up your motor.
