alot of people i know have Clifford. that seems to be a pretty good brand. if you have about $700 to spend, i would look at getting LoJack. That way, if they do get your car, you will be able to find it within an hour. and most acura dealerships can have it installed, and put under warranty.

Under $500 - Viper, Clifford

Over $500 - Compustar

Whatever you choose, make sure you buy it from a legit place that knows what they are doing. Any alarm is only as good as it's install. Also, next time post this in the Audio and Electronics Forum.... :naughty:

that is what lojack is known for, but you can also get it with the functions of a regular alarm. and when it is installed on your car, it is done by a lojack employee who specifically trained in installing these systems. and when they do it, there are only two people who know where it is installed: the owner and installer.

lojack only works if your local police supports it.

clifford, dei, and alpine are good brands.

just make sure you get enough features....hood pin, trunk tin, tilt sensor, shock sensor, prox sensor, window cracking sound sensor
