Thanks for the reply, but it ended up being the front passenger wheel bearing. It was a pain to do, but in a day I got the job done. I could not remove the hub from the knuckle without removing the knuckle from the car and visiting a friend with a press to remove the old bearing.

One of the inner raceways came off stuck on the hub. I was told they have something called a bearing splitter or bearing separator for the job. Unable to find one, I dremeled the inner raceway off. This actually worked really well.

The sound is now gone with the wheel bearing replaced.

Good to hear it fixed. Yea, sometimes the races kinda weld in place when the bearings wear out and overheat.
