Default Exhaust Drone?

What does it mean when someone says "I like how my exhaust
doesn't drone on the Highway"?

What is droning?

Some aftermarket exhausts have a very tiring and annoying buzz/drone at cruising speeds; if you're talking about the typical exhaust "drone" most ppl strive to avoid.

The Comptech I/H/E setup doesn't have that, does it?

There is definitely a drone at cruising speeds, but it isn't overly loud or annoying. I think any exhaust system that adds bass will have a slight drone. The comptech system isn't particularly silent either. Not the loudest out there, but definitely not the quietest either.

Thats funny you mentioned comptech, that's the exhaust i'm
getting and it seems the only bad thing I've read about it,
is that it sometimes "drones".

Actually, that's just what one guy said, I just didn't know what it meant.

I'm planning on the Comptech I/H/E setup as well, but it'll be a while for me. I need tires first, come spring. From there, I dunno.

the comptech setup is relatively quiet compared to other systems. it is a really good setup.

you mean when the exhaust overtake all other road noises. and it just gets annoying because you cant hold a decent conversation or you cant concentrate long enough to do some good pondering because of the exhaust?

oh yea, i had that.
