I'd also check the power steering belt tension

I know the sound your talking about -its like a metal rubbing kind of squeak? It apparentsly happens to alot of tegs you just have to get under the car and grease up a certain part.

I have experienced this same problem.

It is an interior squeak that only occurs when turning the steering wheel. For me it only happens once/a couple of times after starting from a fully cold start and then stops after the interior warms up.

I suspect that some lube in the right place will get rid of it but since it doesn't happen very often, it doesn't annoy me all that much.

Gordon.

My buddy's Accord does the same thing. Sounds like pigeon's 'cooing' every time he makes a turn. His has gradually progressed from 'doing it only when cold' to 'doing it ALL THE TIME, regardless of temperature. Very annoying. Thanks for the suggestion Shoofly... hopefully the Integra and Accord steering columns are similar.

I've got the same issues, and I just had my oil changed. The dealer checked it out, my friend is the lead tech, and he didn't notice anything strange. He said next time my oil change is due, to leave it all day and they'd check it cold.

this just happened to me tonight when i started my car after working for 10 hours. but it only happened when i turned the wheel all the way and when it was anywhere else, there wasn't the "screeching sound". all my fluids seem to be full. think its the same thing? hopefully nothing serious
