Default high RPM shift

i have a 95LS and i have noticed that shifting from 1st to 2nd gets pretty damn hard at high rpm's, is there anyway to stop that or is it something that i have to live with?

What do you mean by hard to shift? Does it grind or does the shifter not want to move or what?

i have the same problem - it's not hard, it just doesn't shift smoothly - the rpms drop and i get a rough jerky shift into second.

When was the last time you replaced the fluid?

Some nice new tranny juice would be the first thing you should do if its overdue.

.....Thats how Integras are.....They are geared tight for efficient launches....the trade off is that you have a smaller range to shift.

I've got the same problem. Going from 1st to 2nd is a *****.

I really have to feather it in. I hit the clutch at 3k in first gear and then end up at about 2k when 2nd gear finally catches.

BTW, i drive a gsr so I don't know if its the same for everyone.
