how to remove antenna?

Default how to remove antenna?

I removed the nut from the lower part of the antenna but I cant get the upper part through the car.. How do I remove it?

chain, duct tape, and an engine lift

or a sawzall or dremel

what do you mean? you need to remove the circular nut on the top of the antenna mast, and then remove the bolt holding the antenna to the body inside the trucnk lining

so that top part is a nut? I have the other nut off on the inside of the hatch.. I just couldnt pull it throught the body.

I've got the s2000 antena on my car so I know how its done... get yourself a flat screw driver or chisel, and hammer and CAREFULLY!!!!!! start taping it counter clockwise, it will take a long time but it will come off... be very carefull not to slip, i messed up my paint doign that.. ops Acura actualy has a specual tool they put on the end of a drill or soemthing... so if you want they might let you use it.. Acura was gonna hook me up with it but some *****y customer made a scene so I dint wanta wait but ya thats another story..

it takes like a minute, just use a screwdriver to unscrew that piece on top..its like a curved silver surface with 4 indentations in it, check this out for cmplete detailed instructiosn with pics: http://www.bseries.net/html/garage/s2kantenna.php

be careful NOT to hit the car... i know someone that scratched the **** outta their teg doing this..... :|
