Default Clutch problems........

Sup' to all. This morning when I drove to work, I noticed that after I would press my clutch pedal to change gears and take my foot off of it, the pedal would stay compressed for a good 3-6 seconds before it would pop back up. I dont know if this will help at all, but I also have alot of extra play in my clutch pedal. I can move it down about 1.5 inches before it actually starts engaging the clutch (The clutch still disengages even though it sticks, and it doesnt stick all the way down, only to the point where I feel the extra play in the pedal). I checked the clutch cable already, and everything looks fine.......HELP !!

Have you checked the fluid?

Also make sure the clutch isnt getting caught on the floormat on its way up...

Definitely check your fluid level first.

I have a similar problem, only mine depresses but at the height of thr brake pedal then I pulled it up and havent driver since. This happened once, someone said it might be the slave cilinder, but I have no idea, I need some insight as well. I am worried because i dont want to stop somewhere, I rather fix this problem now.
