That's pretty good man.
I'd like to have my car run high 14's.

I'm shooting for mid 14's -- hence the nitrous (planned). wewt.

if your 60' was in the 2.2 range you'll hit mid 14's

i got high 2.3's the last time i went and got 15.3's on crappy tires
i got i/h/e and suck at drag, also i was shifting like a pansy

also snoop, your bro using drag radials hmmm what can he run on street tires cuz the drags give him a good advantage
I understand that if i got my 60' down to the 2.2 range I'd be getting some good times.

Is there any helpful tips on getting that 60' better. Besides getting slicks which would help out my launch a lot.

only suggestion i can give is practice and try different launch techniques
some people do better by feathering the clutch and gas
others do better by just dropping the hammer

all things are relative to RPM, your suspension and engine mods and driver

I understand. Yea my first couple times I would simply take it up to 3500-4000rpm and then just drop the clutch. But then I started to take it to about 5000rpm and slipped the clutch the best I could. I think that may have worked out better for me. I guess its all in the launch then to get that 60' down. I'll work on that the next time I run. Thanks

I've heard 4500 or 4grand and droping it gets the best results... it might hurt you if you go WOT as soon as you drop it...
