Default New tires

Now I know that the original rims and tires suck... BUt I need to

know, I need new tires All-season to replace my 195/55/15's

That I have on there right now... The have to work good in the

winter without sacraficing too much on the performance end...

any sugestions?

PS eventually I will get better rims and use these as a back up

but money isn't too much of an issue. under $900.

Well, where do you live? New England winters are quite different from South Carolina winters, and thus your tire choice is tough to call without more info...

I just picked up some Dunlop SP Sport A2 tires for winter. They are all season but rated pretty well for snow at the Tire Rack website. And they were only $51 a piece for 195/60/14 which didn't hurt either.

Same profile (195/55/15). Technically skinny tires work better in the snow but I'm not sure how much of a compromise you want.

Depends where you live....I have Toyo T1 Proxes on my my stock rims and it works great in wet and dry. I know Nitto sucks in the rain, just to warn ya.....my bro got into an accident cause they just don't grip worth sh!t in the rain.

Isn't that a tad wide for the stock wheels?
