Default type-r head

im getting a type-r head for a ls/vtec conversion and im planning on going nitrous...

the head is basically brand new and has portflow springs and tit. retainers all for 700 bucks...

since im going nitrous later i was wondering on the strength of the type-r valves... should i get ss and bronze guides...

take into account the bottom is fully built... thanks

lol go with the top quality then go the cheap way out on the very next big step. I wouldn't but its your car and i still give props to you. But isn't the type R head and B16 the same head or not. I'm not to fond of which head it is so thats just a question for ya. I would go NA but thats just me. Anyhow to all his own and good luck with the project and let us know how it came out like what the hp and torque numbers are without nitrous and with nitrous

They share the same head, but I think it's ported/polished or something on the R.
