Default Installing Spoon strut tie into DC2 hatch.

Do I have to remove the plastic in the back to get it on.
I think I do but I don't want to if I Don't have to.

Not the little removable panels, but the whole trunk liner.

i think youre going to have to cut a tiny piece of it off (the plastic) .. no big deal and fairly easy to do.

As far as i know...all you need to do is remove the plastic panels. I used to have a skunk2 rear strut bar, and that's all that's required. No cutting at all or removing anything else, unless the spoon bar won't clear it, which I'm almost sure it will.

There's a piece of plastic that bridges over the left shock tower. Did you have to cut that off? I've also got a Spoon bar on order. I guess it doesn't matter; if it's in the way it's coming out regardless.

installed

Didn't have to cut the plastic on the left shock tower.
Just had to pull the plastic trunk liners out and slip the black pieces in then bolt them down.
Easy.
