Oil Consumption
I got 2001 Integra GSR with 74,XXX mi on it. I changed my oil about 4,000 mi ago with 5w30 Mobil 1 Synthetic Motor Oil and filled the engine until the dip stick was slightly above the medium between low and high. When I checked oil level today it was on low. Is it normal for the engine to consume that oil? I got no leaks and did not see any blue smoke out of my exhaust.
Thanks,
-Vitek

Less than a quart in 4,000 miles is perfectly fine. I average about the same in my 97 LS with 120K.
Just keep her filled, use a quality oil filter (i.e, not FRAM) and do routine oil changes.
Anywhere from 3000-5000 miles, depending on driving conditions.

Thanks Dave.
Also look into Oil analysis. www.blackstone-labs.com
You learn a lot about your engine's health.
my integra burned a qt every 1000. just at the factory spec.
oh well.
the evo burned half a quart in 500 miles. but 150 miles of that was track time.
