from the pic the actual lights look the same but you can see the output the S2K is showing on the ground while the silverstars are not producing that.

I think you'd need to show pics from both driver's seats. But, don't waste your time. Trying to compare 9005's to HID's is futile. Look at the light on the road in front of the S2K... no comparison.

i dunno...when i first got my silverstars...i wasnt that impressed, because they didnt look as "white" as the pics i saw posted, including this one....

i dunno, mine dont look as blue/white, but they're still better than the stock headlights, and also better than the stock 9005's i also modified to fit bulbs ...

wheres the ricer mentality? as long as they look the same in the picture, they will be the same. so why spend $1000 for HID's when you can get something just as good for $50!!!!!!:joshers:

have you ever compared your headlights with HIDs? I had the silverstar conversion on my GSR and I allways thought they were bright as **** until I pulled up next to a BMW on the highway....trust me there is a difference.

I did the Silverstar 9005 conversion for my brother's 94 LS and I'm not that impressed.... Its not as yellow as stock, but not as white as pics that I've seen in other threads here....

Oh well, that car now belongs to my sister and my brother drives a '01 IS300... Now those are some nice lights....:naughty:

i was being extremely sarcastic. i had the silverstars on my teg and i, too, saw the difference. but they are still better than stock. what you need to do is make a good friend in the body shop of a honda or acura dealership. i was a porter at an acura dealership and i got HID's out of cl's and tl's for $100 a pop. but i sold them all for $250. and these were lights in perfect working order. all you need to do to put those in a teg is find some 9006/5 HID bulbs.
